Located
about 80km from Kuala Terengganu and made up of 340 islands and 14
waterfalls and rapids, Kenyir Lake provides for total relaxation and
enjoyment in a unique environment. Surrounded by a lush tropical jungle,
the Kenyir Lake is a popular and ideal retreat for nature lovers,
anglers and photographers, as well as cavers. Other activities include
swimming, canoeing, boating and jungle trekking.

The most famous are Lasir Waterfall, Tembat Waterfall and Saok
Waterfalls. Bewah and Taat Caves are two towering limestone caves that
are not only natural wonders, they are also the sites of archeological
discoveries.
Climate & Weather
The climate here is between 23 degree Celsius to 31 degree Celsius
yearly. Weather conditions similar with that of Kuala Terengganu.
The existence of the tropical forest landscape and the numbers of river
sources within the lake area makes for cooler the temperatures. Between
November to February is the rainy seasons but you can still can enjoy
the scene and around the Kenyir Lake. The rainy season is especially favourable for easy fishing. the place is naturally overflowing with
fishes during the wet season.
