Our sightseeing tour of Kuching City show us the perfectly preserved colonial buildings which blend elegantly with the gracious modern architecture. We drive South to admire the beautiful landscape, the unique design of Kuching South City Hall and the amazing Cat Monument. You will be taken to the City Tower for the panoramic view of the City. Then a beautiful drive takes us past the magnificent City Mosque and the delightful market of exotic fruits and vegetables. The highlight of this tour is a visit to the world renowned 'Sarawak Museum' before we stroll along the impressive Kuching Waterfront to view the Brooke's Palace and other Brooke's heritage.

ITINERARY
Every weekend,
starting from 2pm on Saturday afternoon , continu�ing right through
to 12noon on
Sunday afternoon, the streets of "Satok" come alive.
Native women from
the many villages in the outskirts of Kuching city, carry their fruits and
vegetable in big native woven bas�kets down to "Satok" road. With
their colourful umbrellas poised to protect them from the heat of
the day, and their fruits and
vegetables spread on the native mats on the streets, the women get ready to do a
roaring business with the housewives of Kuching city. Chinese and Malay
traders set up their poultry, beef, flowers, prawn, fish, cake and fruit
stalls to catch a part of the action.

ITINERARY
INCLUDES
This
is a comprehensive tour where you can see all the places of
attraction around this historical city. The tour begins with a
drive to see the gigantic Cat Statue (mascot of the city) at
Pandungan before cruising through Chinatown and stop at the Tua Pek
Kong Temple (1876) - the oldest in Sarawak. From the temple, you can
get a good view of the imposing Fort Margherita (1876) which now
serves as a police museum. Proceed to the modern City Centre
building where one can get an excellent panoramic view of the city
from its tower block. The route passes through the superbly designed
St. Joseph's Cathederal, the Syariah (Muslim) Court, the Satok
Suspension bridge (1926) and traditional Malay houses built on
stilts. Make a stop at the magnificent looking Mosque built along
the riverbank. Winding through the heart of the city, look out for
the Astana (1870) - former palace of the White Rajah' but now the
official residence of the Governor of Sarawak, and the old Colonial
Low Court House - complete with a Clock Tower and a granite obelisk
built in memory of Rajah Charles Brooke.
The
highlight of the tour will be a visit to the Sarawak Museum, which
is acknowledged as one of the finest in the world. It is a treasure
house of artifacts and exhibits, which possess great archeological
and cultural significance
