DAY 1
Meet
at Mulu airport, transfer to the Royal Mulu Resort for check-in*
In the afternoon,
meet in the resort lobby & transfer to Mulu National Park
Headquarters. Upon registration, proceed on plank walk for 3 km to
reach Deer Cave and Lang Cave. After exploring the caves,
proceed to bats observation platform to observe bats flying out of
the caves entrance at late evening. (Only during fine weather).
Return
journey on the same plank walk to National Park headquarters.
Transfer to Royal Mulu Resort. Dinner at canteen and overnight Royal
Mulu Resort.
DAY
2
This
morning, after breakfast at the resort, and then upriver longboat journey will be
around 35 minutes. We will stop over at the Penan settlement where
there are some nice handicraft made by this semi-nomadic tribe.
Proceed to
visit the Wind and Clearwater Caves. From the Wind Cave, we
will go along the plank walk flanking the limestone cliff to the
Clearwater Cave. Picnic lunch is served at the Clearwater summer
hut. You will have time to relax and for a swim in the natural
pool. Return back to the resort chalet -pack & transfer to
Mulu airport for onward flight to your next destination.

DAY 1
On arrival into Mulu airport, transfer to Royal Mulu Resort for
check in. At 1500 hrs, meet at the resort and you will be
transferred to the Park Headquarters, where your guide will lead you
on a 3 km hike through Mulu's amazing tropical rainforests.
Discover Lang Cave and it's beautiful formations and walk through
the World's largest cave entrance; the massive Deer Cave.
Relax with a snack at the open-air observatory for an opportunity to
witness the phenomenal exodus of millions of bats out of the caves,
spiraling high overhead for their nightly hunt for food. Hike
back to the Resort by 1900=2000 hours. Overnight at Royal Mulu
Resort.
DAY
2
This
morning, after breakfast, our upriver longboat journey will be
around 35 minutes on winding rivers. We will stop over at the Penan
settlement where there are some nice handicrafts made by this semi-nomadic tribe.
Continue up the river to
visit the Wind and Clearwater Caves of Mulu National Park.
The Wind Cave is famous for the naturally sculpted column and
pillars of the King's Chamber while the Clearwater Cave was formed
by the the waters of the 118 km long cave system. You may take
a swim at the refreshing Clearwater! The highlight of the
visit must be to see the Rajah Brooke butterflies hovering around
the river and entrance to the caves. A most unique sighting of
nature well protected and conserved. Return to the Resort by
boat. You should be at the Resort by 1300 hrs. Free at
leisure. Overnight at the Royal Mulu Resort.
DAY
3
After breakfast, it will be a free day till your transfer to Mulu
airport.
NOTE

Loose
summer clothing, swimming wear, hat, sun block lotion, insect
repellent, flat walking shoes, 200 or 400 ASA films.
