No
special mountaineering skills are required, just physical fitness and
determination.
DAY
1
Depart
from KLIA at 2350 onboard heading towards Kota Kinabalu.
DAY
2
Arrive
at Koat Kinabalu at 0225. Tour around Kota Kinabalu town before
heading towards Kinabalu Park. Check in at Mangillan Hostel
and briefing on Mount Kinabalu Expedition. Dinner will be
served.
DAY
3
Climb
begins from Timpohon Gate to Panar Laban with distance around
6km. Stop at Layang-Layang and explore around Paka Cave. Chek
in at Gunting Lagadan Chalet and second briefing. Breakfast, lunch,
dinner included.
Day
4
The
climb is continued at 0300 towards peak of Mount Kinabalu, 4101
meters from sea level for 2.5 km to witness the sunrise. Climb
ends after arriving at Low's Peak at around 0700. Climb down to
Kinabalu Park and check in at Mangillan Hostel. Breakfast and
lunch included.
Day
5
Stop
at Kundasang and Poring Hot Springs while on the way to Kota
Kinabalu. From Kota Kinabalu, depart to Sapi Island. Camp
overnight. Dinner included.
Day
6
Depart
to Manukan Island in the morning before heading towards Kota Kinabalu
in the afternoon. Participants will be presented with
certificates in the Promenade Hotel. Depart for Kota Kinabalu
Airport. Includes breakfast and hi-tea.
Day
7
Depart
for Kuala Lumpur at 0605 and arrive at KLIA.
