Situated in the middle of Malaysia's premier marine park sanctuary, sandwiched between crystal clear water and hills covered with

lush tropical jungle, the resort offers you peace and tranquility like

no other as the Lang Tengah Island is uninhabited.
The resort consists of individual chalets and a number of semi detached chalets built along the lines of traditional Malay houses standing

on stilts but with all the necessary modern conveniences.

You can lie on the powder white beach all day long working on your tan or take a walk around many small beaches around the island � undisturbed,

as there is no outsider here who will bother you.

DINING
The Sea view restaurant serves Western and Asian cuisine in full view

of the deep blue sea. The resort boasts an outdoor dining area where a buffet breakfast and dinner are served. Both buffets offer the typical Asian-Western

mish-mash one usually encounters at these affairs: French toast, eggs,

omelettes made to order, sausage, fried rice, fried noodles etc.

For breakfast and for dinner - fried chicken, stir-fried beef and a more

Malaysian assortment of dishes. The local dishes seemed to taste better.
Ala Carte is also available but kitchen closes at 2.30pm so place lunch orders before going out for that long snorkel tour.

ACTIVITIES
Beach volley ball,, jungle trekking, Night fishing, scuba-diving, snorkelling

boat trip and jungle trekking.

At night you can watch laser disc movie or sing the night away in the karaoke lounge. Night fishing or diving can be made with prior arrangement.

Being in the National marine park sanctuary, the main activity here are snorkeling and scuba diving. The crystal clear water in front of the resort offers excellent snorkeling. There is no need for a boat ride, just immerse yourself in the water

and have a full view of the living aquarium and swim along with colourful tropical fishes, turtles, baby sharks and barracudas.

The visibility of the water in front of the resort is between 10-20 meters

depending on the weather conditions.

NOTE
During the months of May to September turtles come ashore to

lay eggs on these beaches.
