Drive one hour up to the ridges of the Crocker Range to 1,500m. Commence trekking downhill past villages, montane forest, and secondary forest, criss-crossing streams and rivers down to sea level and meeting local natives along the way. Overnight either in villages or tents. Trekking per day averages 5-8 hours depending on water level of the rivers and physical fitness of participants. An ideal way to be close to nature while staying in great shape.

DAY 1
Depart for 3 hours to Keningau to buy pack lunch before we proceed on a 5 hrs journey driving through offroad to Sook, Nabawan, Matiku and Tibou to reach the Security Gate of Maliau Basin Conservation Area (MBCA). Proceed to the Agathis Camp where we will stay overnight. After dinner, enjoy a night drive in search of nocturnal animals through the 26km access road along the Agathis Camp & Belian camp (depend on weather condition). Possible encounter of samber deer, bearded pigs, Malay civet
and flying squirrel.

DAY 2
After breakfast, begin trekking through the rainforest. This challenging journey will take about 6 hours through steep hills, as you will be ascending to the highest level of the Basin. Break for a prepared packed lunch. Continue trekking until reaching Camel Trophy Camp, our stop for the
night. In the afternoon, proceed to the nearby waterfalls of Giluk. This area is dominated by many waterfalls. Spend your day swimming and relaxing in cool spring water, along the route possible sightings of macaques and rare birds. Overnight at Camel Trophy Camp.

DAY 3
Today, we take 7 hours hard trek through the dense forest of Maliau Basin. Discover the abundance of nepenthes plants along "Jalan Babi". Expect to arrive at Bambangan Campsite at 2pm. Proceed to the spectacular seven tier Maliau and enjoy a refreshing swim at the Maliau Fall; one of the most remote place on earth.
Overnight at Bambangan Campsite.

DAY
4
After breakfast, leave Bambangan Campsite for Agathis Camp on a 9 hours trek. Stop for packed lunch at Ginseng Camp. Expected to reach Agathis Camp in the evening. Overnight at Agathis Camp.

DAY 5
After breakfast, depart Agathis Camp to Keningau enroute to Kota Kinabalu.
