Putrajaya, Malaysia's Smart City - in a Garden, is located in the heart
of the country's highly vaunted Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) and is
the Malaysian Governments impressive new administrative seat. The
landmark complex stretches over 11,320 acres and is situated 25km from
Kuala Lumpur
ITINERARY
Pick-up from Hotel. En-route, we will be able to see Pudu Prison, built
in 1895 by the British. We will drive past the old airport of Kuala
Lumpur built during the colonial era. As we drive further out of Kuala
Lumpur, we will see the transformation of a once old open cast tin mine
into what is now a luxurious hotel and lake resort. The journey takes
approximately 50 Minutes. On arrival at Putrajaya, we will fist call on
the official residence of the Prime Minister of Malaysia. See Malay
architecture at its finest in this magnificent mansion. There are
numerous new government complexes in this ultra modern township. Here we
will also stop by at the Putrajaya Square and see the various government
buildings which includes the Prime Ministers office. The most eye
catching structure in Putrajaya is the thin pinkish Putra Mosque with
its magnificent Arabic architecture.
We then move on to the Wetlands of Putrajaya to enjoy the the beauty of
the many species of flora that have been brought from all over the
nation and planted here. Our last stop will be at the Lake for those
interested in going for the Putrajaya Lake cruise. (Lake cruise > will
be at own expense)
We then begin our return journey back to Kuala Lumpur, passing numerous
oil palm plantations and drop off at hotel or location of your choice in
KL.

A demonstration on the
entire rubber manufacturing process from the time it is
tapped and churned out as fully smoked sheets will be shown
during the tour. Next, we proceed to Putrajaya Government
Centre. There are numerous new government complexes in this
ultra modern township.
Here
we will also stop by at the Putrajaya Square and see the
various government buildings which includes the Prime
Ministers office. The most eye catching structure in

Standing beside Dataran Putra and facing the Putrajaya Lake,

ITINERARY
Depart Kuala Lumpur at 9.30 am. With a short refreshment
stop in between, we arrive in Melaka in about 2 � hours. On
arrival, visit St. Peter's Church (1710) - the oldest
Christian Church still in use in Malaysia. Drive past the
largest 17th century Chinese cemetery outside of China,
located at Bukit China or Chinese Hill. Stop at the foothill
to view the Sultan's Well before driving through the
Portuguese Settlement.
Proceed to view the famous gateway "Porta De Santiago" and
the ruins of St. Paul's Church lined by 17th century Dutch
tombstones. Next on the list is "Red Square"- the
salmon-pink Dutch administrative building which today houses
the Melaka Museum and some other government offices. Visit
Christchurch before proceeding for lunch at a local
restaurant. After lunch, we visit the "Abode of the Green
Merciful Clouds" or the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple - the only
temple where you can find 3 major doctrines of local Chinese
belief under the same roof, viz : Taoism, Buddhism and
Confucianism.
Take a stroll along Melaka's "antique street" which ends by
the banks of the Melaka River.
