The
adventure begins from Kuala Lumpur and will take us through a scenic
off-road track, over looking untouched hill sides. The off-road
trail is rated easy, although it may get hard when
it rains. The camp-site is situated on a plateau about 850 meters
above sea-level, next to a clear water river. It is a beautiful
natural recreation area. The long house is built out of bamboo
structure, there are no modern materials used here. The
accommodation is modest, clean and very natural. Toilets with flow
thru septic system are available. Sleeping bags and
halal food is provided. Bring along some warm clothing, as it gets
chilly at night.
The
highlight � "Lata Kijang Waterfall" (some call it
Kijang Jatoh) which is approximately 250 metre high, it is the
tallest single drop fall in Malaysia. The jungle track leading to
the fall takes about
1hour walk from our camp-site. Lunch is served at the waterfall. The
pool is a wonderful swim / play area.
The 4wds� will pick us up at
the waterfall for the return journey.
This outing would be ideal get-a-way whilst spending time in natural
environment. For outings, we conduct team activities where all staff
we be able to interact with one another. Families with children are
also encouraged to participate and the activities are not strenuous
at all.
