ITINERARY
09.00am - Meet and transfer to Beserah fishing village.
Drive along the coastline which is dotted with Malay fishing
villages and experience the life style of the people. Stop
at Beserah fishing village to see villagers process their
catch to salted fish, which is a local delicacy.
Kuantan the state capital is situated on the banks of the
Kuantan river mouth. Pass by the Royal Pahang Golf Club
house and mini zoo at Taman Teruntum which houses some
native animals like peacock, deer, sun-pheasants. View some
exclusive residence of the Royal family, the official
residence of the Chief Minister and the State guesthouse.
Visit a colorful Hindu temple and photographic the new State
Mosque enrooted. Enjoy a stop a cottage industry and watch
the intricate art of Batik making.

09.00am - Meet and transfer to Royal town Pekan
10.00am - Visit Water Craft Gallery (Boat Museum) that
located on a small island close to the riverbank in Pekan,
see the traditional type of water craft. Drive along Pre-war
shophouses, the Royal Palace of the Sultan Pahang, the Royal Polo field and the
royal stables and then proceed to the State Museum which
houses a rich collection of Pahang historical items
especially its ancient kings is well documented. Visit the
famous silk weaving centre for the 'Tenunan' and 'Songket'
making.

This serene town tucked away about 42 km northwest of
Kuantan was once the richest mining town and producer of tin
in the state. Visitors to Sungai Lembing today will still be
able to see some of the town�s old characteristics, such as
houses and shophouses still spotting a blend of the Pahang
Malay traditional architecture with a Western influence.
Visit the museum, learn how Sg. Lembing got its name, the
diaroma exhibits and artifacts are proof of its history. The
museum housed in a refurbished former general managers
bungalow has been reconstructed to give the appearance and
atmosphere of a working tin mine. In this Museum you can
find various exhibits and artifacts from the town�s glorious
tin-rich days, including mining equipment, mineworkers�
costumes, furniture and tableware. Not far up the valley
past the museum is the mill, where huge were iron balls were
lifted around revolving steel cages and used to crush the
ore into powder for refining. This process is clearly shown
in the museum.
Visitors to the Lao Zi Temple are taken on a guided tour
inside the dragon, going in through its tail and coming out
from its mouth. Written on the walls are a 5,000- word
scripture, known as the �Book of Tao and its Virtues. Among
the other attractions here are brass image of the Goddess of
Mercy dating back to the Ming dynasty, a wishing bell, a
pair of longevity and prosperity tortoises, a pair of
�Earth� dragons, images of the 18 Lo Hans (arhats) and the
prosperity Buddha as well as the an Antique House containing
antiques of Chinese origin. Most of the antiques are of
Chinese origin comprising porcelain wares, ancient stone
carving, brassware and other rare artifacts.
