Nestled 1,524 metres above sea-level, it is located among the lofty peaks of the Main Range of Peninsula Malaysia. Named after William Cameron, an English government surveyor, the highlands was 'officially discovered' in 1885. Described as 'fine plateau with gentle slopes, shut in by lofty mountains', it is now a popular holiday retreat with Tudor designed cottages. Temperatures averages about 10 - 12 degrees Celsius.

ITINERARY
Pick-up / Drive along the picturesque tea gardens to Gunung Brinchang.
A commentary and an aerial view photo stop
A short trek into the "Mossy forest" where you will enjoy the crisp highlands air and be overwhelmed by the myriad parasitic plants, large trumpet flowers, different varieties of pitcher plants, wild orchids.
The journey continues with a walk on a suspension bridge, to an Orang Asli Village, where you can observe their simple lifestyle & culture
